Hello Creatives!
Welcome to another insightful edition of our newsletter, where we dive into some exhilarating topics at the heart of AI and creativity. This edition is brimming with fresh perspectives and tools designed to stoke the fires of your imagination. We'll be exploring the following topics:
The Midjourney Style Tuner

Artists and AI: A Conversation
The Midjourney Style Tuner
It's where creatives can tweak and tune the aesthetics of their images by generating a lot of visual styles based on their whims or, let's say, 'professional judgments'. Creatives can pick their favored styles, snag a unique code, and voila! This code becomes their magic wand to conjure the same aesthetic in future projects. And the cherry on top? They can share or dive into different aesthetics with others, broadening their horizon or perhaps finding that one style that resonates.
Here's a step-by-step guide to using Midjourney's style tuner:
Step 1: Start by typing '/tune' followed by your text prompt.
Step 2: You'll be directed to a page with a variety of images to choose from. Take your time to browse through them.
Step 3: Select your preferred images. These choices will determine the unique style of your content.
Step 4: After making your selections, you'll receive a personalized stylized code.
Step 5: Now, whenever you want to use this style, simply add the provided code to the end of any text prompt.
Step 6: Voilà! Your images will now have a distinct and personalized style based on your selections.
Now when it comes to AI-driven product image shots, this tool rolls out the red carpet for streamlined experimentation. Creatives can play around with background images until they stumble upon the one that casts a spotlight on their product. It's like having a digital fitting room where the aesthetics are tried and tested until the perfect match is found, making products not just seen but truly observed.
The Midjourney Style Tuner, with its bespoke style codes, appears to be a neat addition to the creative workflow, especially when integrated with the C.A.S.H method.
In our previous newsletter, we introduced the first method, which is the Collage-style. Now, we will introduce three more methods that will complete our C.A.S.H method: Collage-style, AI-first, Shot-first, and Hybrid.
Introducing our approach for AI-driven product image with C.A.S.H method.
Collage-Style: Generate assets from individual product images and merge them in post-production. Who It's For: Designers, brands, prop stylists who want specific elements inside the product image. |
AI-First: Use AI to generate the background and then shoot the actual product, combining both in post-production. Who It's For: Creators who want a quick starting point and are comfortable with AI's quirks. |
Shot First: Take a high-quality shot first, then add AI-generated elements. Who It's For: Photographers and creators who want the best of both worlds. |
Hybrid: A mix of all the above methods, tailored to what works best for your specific needs. Who It's For: Jack-of-all-trades creatives who are open to experimenting like me;) |
