Here’s What You Need to Know:

  • 🤖 Independent Task Handling
Operator uses a cloud-based browser to follow your instructions—no heavy API integrations needed.

  • 🔎 Visual Recognition
It understands on-screen elements by looking at raw pixels, just like you do when you browse.

  • ⚙️ Human-in-the-Loop
You can take over anytime to fix details or clarify instructions, ensuring you stay in control.

  • 🚧 Early Research Preview
It can still make mistakes, so don’t rely on it for mission-critical tasks just yet. More improvements are on the way.

  • 🌐 Limited Rollout
Available for US-based PRO users now, with a broader release planned for other countries and plus users in the near future.

  • ⚠️ Safety Measures
The team uses prompts, confirmations, and flagged content rules to reduce risk and prevent harmful or unintended outcomes.

Tips:

1️⃣ Upload High-Quality Images

  • Make sure your visuals are crisp and well-lit.

2️⃣ Keep the Subject Clear

  • Remove any distractions that can pull focus away from the main element.

  • Use a white or transparent background as necessary

3️⃣ Use Detailed Prompts

  • 🏷️ Subject + Movement: Identify what’s moving and how (e.g., “A colorful cube rotating slowly”).

  • 🏞️ Background + Movement: Set the scene (e.g., “A pastel gradient background with subtle sparkles drifting upward”).

  • Camera Movement (Optional): If you want dynamic angles or pans, specify it (e.g., “Camera pans left to right for a sweeping view”).

4️⃣ Configure Your Settings

  • Adjust aspect ratio, frame rate, and resolution as needed.

5️⃣ Add Negative Prompts

  • 🛑 Specify what you DON’T want (e.g., “No text overlays”).

  • This helps you steer the AI away from unwanted elements or styles.

6️⃣ Experiment with Alternatives

  • If you’re not getting the desired output, switch to a different image or try tweaking the prompt.

  • AI tools thrive on iteration—don’t be shy about testing multiple variations.

Focus on how each element interacts within your composition. For more guidance on combining images and text to create video content, see our previous newsletter.

💡 First-Hand Insight:

We’re not completely sold on KLING AI – Elements YET. Its characters and environments can sometimes turn out distorted and may not match your original inputs. However, if you just want to capture a vibe or overall feel for a short clip—whether it’s for an ad, a short story, or to add something extra to your workflow—it could still be a decent option. Just be prepared to run multiple generations to get a result you’re happy with.

Pika Labs – Scene Ingredients 🌟

Generated by PikaLabs

In our previous newsletter, we talked about PikaLabs’ Ingredient feature. Now here’s what we think about it,

What It Does

  • ⚙️ Simplified Editing: The Ingredient feature allows users to isolate and modify specific parts of their visuals.

  • 🔍 Precise Control: Instead of editing the entire artwork, you can adjust only the sections you want.

  • ♻️ Flexible Updates: Makes it quick to experiment with new ideas without reworking the whole design.

💡 First-Hand Insight: Pika Labs

I tried out Pika Labs – Ingredients and really appreciated how it brings custom uploads—like characters, objects, and backgrounds—together in animated scenes. It’s a fun way to add a creative twist to your projects.

One thing to note, though, is that Pika tends to do a Pixar-like animation style, which might not work for every project. Overall, the final output quality is better than KLING—especially when it comes to character references (like sunglasses, and the dog ) staying close to the original. You might still see some distortion in certain scenes, so you’ll likely need to generate a few versions to get the look you want. If you don’t mind the tweaks and appreciate a polished, dynamic feel, this tool could be a great addition to your creative workflow.

🎥 Feature Work: AI-Driven Videos

Veo by Google DeepMind is making strides in longer-format video generation, and “Terms and Conditions” might be its most extensive project yet. Creator Pierre Zandrowicz has combined Veo with other AI-driven tools—Act-One (Runway) and ElevenLabs—to expand narrative possibilities.

  • 🛠️ Extended Formats: Veo’s capacity for producing videos beyond standard lengths can open doors for more elaborate storytelling.

  • 🎯 Creative Flexibility: Pairing Veo with other AI tools allows for unique experimentation with formats, visuals, and character portrayals.

  • ⚖️ In-Between Stage: Fully convincing feature films may still be on the horizon, but these tools already provide a useful sandbox for bolder concepts.

Notable Highlights:

  • Simple Interface: Easy to grasp, yet powerful enough to create diverse video outputs.

  • 🤝 Collaborative Potential: Combining Veo, Act-One, and ElevenLabs can spark new ideas for visual and narrative workflows.

  •  Community-Driven: A supportive network of artists and technologists is shaping how these tools evolve.

    • Training required 79 GPU hours and large photo resolutions (up to 160 megapixels) to capture fine details.

    • This step enabled flexible outputs: different car colors, various backgrounds, and even interior shots with a driver.

  • Clip Production: From 5,054 trained images, 4,047 video clips were made, with 80 final cuts selected.

  • Post-Production: Upscaling, color grading, retouching details, plus small VFX like time-slice shots.

  • Timeline & Final Outputs

    • Approximately 5 weeks to produce the original version.

    • 2 different market versions were created, plus a special ultra-wide edit for Bondi Beach in Australia.

    • The final results were well-received and used on social media and at events like the Bangkok Motor Show.
