Disney CEO Bob Iger: AI Will Transform Entertainment

In a recent shareholders' meeting, Disney CEO Bob Iger described artificial intelligence as potentially "the most powerful technology" Disney has ever seen. He highlighted that AI will significantly shape how audiences experience stories, streamlining content creation, personalization, and audience engagement.

Balancing Innovation and Creativity

Iger stressed the importance of protecting intellectual property, respecting creative work, and prioritizing audience trust while exploring AI. Disney is embracing AI thoughtfully, recognizing the tech as a collaborator—not a replacement—for human creativity.

Disney’s public embrace of AI signals a significant industry shift. Creatives will soon find more opportunities—and possibly more competition—in AI-driven storytelling. The takeaway? The time to understand AI’s role in enhancing creative projects is now.

Exploring Google's Gemini 2.0 Flash

Gemini 2.0 Flash allows you to generate a series of photorealistic images that tell a cohesive story.

Key features of Google's Gemini 2.0 Flash:

  • 🎨 Image Creation: Easily create and edit images using text prompts.

  • 🎬 Multimodal: Handles text, images, audio, and video smoothly.

  • 🚀 Fast Responses: Designed for real-time applications with quick performance.

  • 🔧 Tool Integration: Can directly use tools like Google Search or execute code tasks.

These features make Gemini 2.0 Flash ideal for interactive apps, creative projects, and content creation.

Bilawal Sidhu's AI-Powered Content Creation 🚀

Bilawal Sidhu recently shared an impressive example of using large language models like Claude, Gemini, Grok, and ChatGPT to effortlessly level-up content creation.

In his latest project, Bilawal created a fully interactive 3D city simulation—complete with traffic systems, pedestrians, and cinematic camera views—entirely through AI-generated code. No traditional 3D software, no manual assets uploads—just clever prompts and smart interactions. 🤯✨

Tools he leveraged:

  • Claude 3.7 Sonet: For prompt-driven 3D city simulations and iterative design enhancements.

  • Gemini and AI Studio: To quickly annotate and refine dynamic video scenes, including precise HUD overlays and video take analysis.

  • ChatGPT & Grok: To seamlessly manage creative workflows and optimize detailed shot lists for video production.

🎬Puma AI Anthem Film

The impressive AI-powered Puma Anthem Film by creative director Ergin Kuke and team, blending cinematic storytelling with cutting-edge AI techniques.

They created an engaging, human-like film using several AI personas to guide the vision—thinking like a runner, trainer, and fan. Their innovative approach involved AI agents acting as art directors, cinematographers, and scriptwriters to craft traditional-style pencil storyboards. Leveraging Nvidia NIM and custom LORAs in ComfyUI, they defined unique visual aesthetics and used Freepik's FLUX for striking final-look shooting boards.

The film came to life using over 1500 shots processed via Runway and Cosmos (img2vid). Product visuals were meticulously rendered with Omniverse, and the captivating voiceover was crafted by ElevenLabs.

The result? A film that's genuinely cinematic, visually stunning, and authentically human.

⚔️ No Blender, No Problem: Nem Perez's Medieval AI Workflow

Forget complex tools like Blender or Claude—Nem Perez shows us how easy it can be to build a stunning AI-powered 3D scene! Using Storyblocker and Runway First Frame, Nem crafted an impressive medieval knight test without any 3D modeling experience.

Check out Nem's full breakdown here.

AI-powered motion: Does it measure up? 🎬

We're experimenting with Google Veo 2 inside Freepik to add motion to our product visuals. It took a few tweaks, but the results impressed us—though some motions still aren't as realistic as traditional filming.

Here's our process in brief:

  • Select product images & backgrounds.

  • Blend and enhance visuals using generative fill, neural filters, and color adjustments.

  • Add motion with Veo 2 (expect multiple tries for optimal results).
