🐾 Introducing Picnic Pets: A Fun, Pet-Lover Passion Project from Me, Hazel, and the Team! 🐾 

Hey, my creators and animal-lover friends! 🐶🎨

Today, I want to start my newsletter by sharing something that is a little different than my regular newsletter.

If you’ve followed my personal journey, you know that I have a little Pomeranian named Hazel. 🐾 I want to share a fun weekend project my friends and I worked on—it’s called Picnic Pets! 🧺✨

It all started with me imagining Hazel going on adorable AI-generated adventures, and then I thought: Why not let other pet parents join in on the fun?

With Picnic Pets, you can upload your own pet’s photos and create images and videos of your pets doing all sorts of things they wouldn’t normally do! 🐾 Imagine your dog skydiving 🪂, Your cat Scuba Diving? 🤿 or them sipping coffee in Paris ☕️. We’ve even added some “human-like” scenarios because why shouldn’t your pets be stars of their own stories?

I was totally amazed by how accurate these images turned out—Hazel’s likeness in the generated images is spot on! It’s wild to see how closely these match her real-life look.

Important note: This app is still very much a work in progress (literally coded over weekends!), so expect a few bugs 🐞 here and there. But we’d love for you to test it out and share your thoughts! Whether you have ideas for new adventures or feedback on the experience, we’re all ears.

RunwayML’s Video-to-Video feature, is a tool for transforming video content using AI models. This Video-to-Video lets you input existing videos and apply AI models to create new, stylized versions. It’s a versatile tool for video transformation—use it for stylization, animation, or enhancing existing footage.

A quick guide to getting started with RunwayML’s Video-to-Video tool:

1. Upload Your Video 🎥

   • Start by uploading your video to RunwayML’s platform. You can select any video that you want to modify or stylize.

2. Choose an AI Model 🤖

   • Select from a variety of AI models that can be used to enhance or transform your video. These models offer effects like style transfer, animation, or artistic filters.

5. Export the Final Video 📤

   • After you’re happy with the result, export your newly transformed video in your desired format and resolution.
